BioPortale

This web server

We aim to give access to tools and databases through the BioPortale, with simple but efficient interfaces. As described before, our main services currently provide access to sequence analysis tools. We are developing Web intefaces for databases, and hope to have these soon in production.

We create this BioPortale to offer access to various analysis tools. The different domains are represented by the tabs on the top of this web page.






Many tools are installed on our computers, much more than those represented on these web pages.

In addition to the BioPortale, we have set up an anonymous FTP server, in which we mirror all the EBI databases, part of the NCBI databases, expasy databases, Ensembl as well as other databases that have been asked by our researchers.


Developments

Our main current development involves the web server: the BioPortale. We are developing it using Zope and Plone (more)
All our program interfaces are developed as Zope or Plone products. Once they will be stable we will provide the source code in our FTP server.
