Before getting the summary page you will see the following message:

 












 


The program is running, it may take a few minutes (or a few hours) depending or your input file and the database chosen. You can save the jobId and paste it later in the upper side field of the page (the one that says "Paste here your job ID" ). And press the STOP button, to submit another job. Or wait until the job finishes.

We keep all results for 72 hours. After that they are deleted.

Muscle Summary

The first result page is the Summary page, divided in two sections:

1. the buttons
2. the  results

The buttons

1 - ACTION TOOLS: these buttons call other programs or pages:

• muscle view: the muscle format output, an coloured alignment
  
• clustal mview:  clustal format of the result, viewed with mview
• tree: shows the tree output from muscle, both as a graph and as a text file
  
• save: saves the output seen on the screen
  
• save tree, save tree image: the first button saves the tree text file, the second the png image
• save as fasta: saves the alignment as a fasta file
  
• submit another job: go back to the main muscle form to submit a new analysis

2 - The results:
The format of the results depend of the option that has been chosen. The top of the page will always have similar action tools buttons. You can go back to the muscle result page or submit another job.
