Bioinformaticien and developer in the CRS4 Bioinformatics Services.

EXPERIENCE

From May 2006: Enginneer Bioinformatician At CRS4 bioinformatic lab.

August 2005 to April 2006 : Enginneer Bioinformatician at the IGS lab.
Developpement of new version of Exoset, with more information available. Writing paper.

January 2005 to July 2005 : TRAINING PERIOD at the IGS lab (Genomic and Structural Information) under the supervision of Cédric NOTREDAME.
Working on the integration of genomic information to improve multiples alignements. I am developping Exoset, a program working with T_coffee to map regions introns/exons.

September 2004 - May 2005 : Teacher Assistant in computer science at University of Mediterranean.
Langage C, pascal,Java.

2001 to date : Teaching some courses in mathematics, physics and biology science.
Private tutoring for undergraduate students.

2004-2005 Msc. in Bioinformatics, Second year, University of Mediterranean LUMINY, France.
Dpt: Bioinformatic, Structural Biochemistry and Genomics (BBSG).
Training:: Bioinformatics and sequences analyses, Phylogeny and population genetics, PERL and MySQL programming,
Functional genomics, Structural Biology, Management, communication, economics.
Practical Experience: Sequences analyses with Blast, T_coffee,ClustalW. Works with Databases like Uniprot,GenBank,Gene Onthology.

2003.2004 MSc in Computer Science , First year, with honours: mention AB, University of Mediterranean LUMINY,France.
Dpt: Computer Science (DIL).
Training: Databases (Oracle, SQL), object programming (JAVA), Algorithms and complexity (Project on Hash coding, NP-complete problems and Biological large sequences analyses Algorithms & Complexity), Logical programming (PROLOG), UML.
Practical Experience: Alignement of whole Chromosomes Sequences in collaboration with Mr Michel Van Caneghem and David Martin (LIF & LGPD).
