I am a statistician and a member of the research team in the Bioinformatics Group at CRS4.

Current work

I am currently involved in the QSB group activities, exploring and implementing statistical methods and algorithms for complex biological systems and network inference. In particular:

1. decomposition, approximation, and reconstruction of protein-protein interaction networks (PPIN);

2. Identification, retrieval and prediction of protein components (complexes, modules and other substructures);

3. dynamic features and their probabilistic aspects.
